Does the thought of exercise make you feel overwhelmed
Have you tried to get fitter and tone up in past but never seem to be able to keep it up?
Most of the time when we set out on a mission to lose weight and become healthier, we try to change everything at once. This can leave us feeling overwhelmed and more often than not falling back into our old habits.
There’s an idea that focusing on less helps us achieve more. Changing a habit is tough, but trying to tackle a handful may seem impossible. Instead, concentrate on changing one behavior at a time. Start small and make clear guidelines. Instead of trying to change your whole diet, try to reducing your portion size or cutting down your sugar intake.
If you are restarting exercise, aim to do 2 sessions per week then increase it to 3 when you have built the habit.
Small changes lead to long term success.
